So yea, I haven't updated in a while. Mainly because I've been sick as a dog since the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

But I really have the need to vent right now.

The last two days I have had horrible luck.

Black Friday.. I went out and saved 100 dollars on phones that my baby and I have wanted for a while. We got the same exact phone, the Virgin Mobile Wild Card.


Everything was fine and dandy. Until yesterday that is..

The phone froze up, the white screen of death so to say. So I took the battery out for a minute and replaced it. It started back up. Less than a minute later it did it again. Fucking white screen. It was doing this ALL day. The phone wouldn't cooperate for even a minute!! So I got on the phone with Virgin Mobile customer service. Twenty minutes later they decided to send me a replacement phone. That I would have it by Tuesday. So, for the time being I located my old phone, and swapped them out, reactivating the old one. There is one good part to this story. They overnighted the phone to me, and I got it at bout one o'clock today. The great thing about this, just out of curiosity this morning, I put the battery on my old new phone to see if it would cooperate. Sure enough. It hasn't frozen all day!! So now I have 2 of the same exact phones, both working perfectly. ha.. I am going to send the old new phone back just in case. I don't feel like going through that again ya know?! Of course I am going to look like an ass when they receive it and see that it is working as intended..

A couple days ago. My baby gave me an early Christmas present. A beautiful 19" in Widescreen Flat Panel LCD monitor!!



Today.. it fucking broke!!! I don't know what happened. The screen just went black, the power indicator light was still on. But I couldn't get it to even turn off. So I unplugged it, and plugged it back in. And I got NOTHING. Not even the indicator light. So I'm thinking, just maybe, the power cord was bad, since I was still using the cord from my old monitor as it was more convenient. So I hooked up my old monitor once again, and voila it works...
So by now Im in tears, I try my luck one more time.. grab the new power cord that came with the monitor and tried it. I had no such luck.

So now, just this week, I have broken a brand new phone, as well as a brand new monitor. Yay, go me!!  ......................

Ok, so in the last post, there was a picture of my very first cake.
I have never ever baked before, and this was a really good experience for me, since I have longed to bake for a long time.
So, tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I will be spending the day with Chucks' family. And they don't care much for pie.. strange I know. So we decided we would make a cake. And I have been telling Chuck for months that I wanted to make a cake, so we decided this was a great chance.
I did most of the work, but I had help from Chuck. He did the leveling of the cake, and took it out of the oven for me and stuff, but it was mostly me.
I am very happy with the outcome, I was so scared that the tie-dye would look horrible, but on the outside it looks very good.
The pictures were taken with my phone so they aren't great quality. Hopefully I will get some better quality pictures of it tomorrow when we cut her open :)

The reasoning behind the most recent longing for baking skills is that I was inspired by a friend who baked, and designed a cake for her husbands birthday. And Chuck and my first year anniversary is just around the corner, January 1st. I really wanted to bake and design a cake especially for him.

Hopefully it will come out great!

So, it has been a couple days since I posted. I kept thinking about it I swear.

But anyways, the weekend is now over. I have my kids until Tuesday, they will be spending Thanksgiving with their father; and then I will get them for Christmas.

Saturday, after we drove the 40 miles to pick my babies up, apparently Allen didn't bother getting them ready when I called as soon as I left my house to tell him we were on the way. So when we got there, they were rushing around the house. KayLee had the ugliest outfit on.
Anyways, we got about 15 minutes down the road, and Ryan started throwing up. Poor thing. So we pulled over, changed his clothes and cleaned him up. Silly me, I left his sippy cup on the roof of the car, it did a mad sumersault as we were headed down the road haha. So I had to get out and chase it down.

After a while, we were probably about 10 minutes away from my house, he started throwing up again. a LOT! I started panicing, I kept asking if his stomach hurt etc.. felt his forehead and he didn't have a fever or anything.

So we got home, washed him and everything else up. My guess it was just the car ride. He has been fine ever since. Lol.

So since the original plans of going to the park had been trumped by some car sickness. I decided that we go over to Chucks mom's house and have dinner with her, Chucks sister and her two kids.

Well, her son devlyn went over to Gavins house for a boys night, and gavins step sisters, allysa and kaylee had gone over to chucks moms for a girls night. So now, my son ryan is the only boy there, aside from chuck of course, but chuck didn't partake in the festivities. After a while, Chuck and I went to my moms house to pick up a dresser that we so badly needed. By the time we got back, all the fun stuff was over. All of the kids got themselves pedicures!! Yes including Ryan, because god-forbid he gets left out of anything :P haha. He has a lovely orange nail polish on his toes now :) I can't wait to see his father's reaction.
At the rate Ryan is going, I will not be surprised a single bit if he is gay. His baby sister is less of a baby than he is :P

Anyways, that was Saturdays fun. Today we woke up and took the kids to the park. It was a really neat park, I haven't seen one like it before. They had a ton of fun, and KayLee busted her knee. I told her to watch her step going over the little hump. And she did. But two seconds later she tripped and fell. lol. And that was the fun for today! lol


Earlier this month, I found a website that had one of those GED practice tests. I started at the beginning, and did a Language Arts practice test. I scored a 65 out of a possible 125.
Needless to say I was feeling horrible.
Well, I have studied a little bit since then, and I took the test again a couple nights ago. I scored an 85 out of 125 this time. Much better, but I would like to get it even higher.
I also took 2 practice drivers tests, the written ones obviously, I can't remember my scores, but they weren't too terrible for never having studied it before and rarely ever driving in my life.. lol Maybe I will study for that one too.

I had a really bad night that night... I was beating myself up pretty badly. The Practice GED test helped a bit.

I'm alright now. I've been better, and have been worse. But none-the-less alright.

So, I totally fell asleep today out of boredom.
My hours are completely screwed up. Most night I go to sleep between 1am and 8am..
And if by chance I get to sleep before midnight, I am awake by 6am, and exhausted again by noon.
I am tired of being so bored all the time.I never have anything to do except think.. ALL FRICKEN DAY!
Another thing.. 6 out of 7 days a week, I get a massive headache. Pills don't seem to do any good anymore. I'm tired of that too..

I'm just plain sick and tired lately.

Every day Chuck puts in, 9-10 hours at his job.. I feel like it is putting a real cramp on our relationship.  I brought it up once, and I ended up feeling like a douche.

He is working so hard because he wants to save to get married, and to buy a car and a house..

Technically the pet isn't mine, but since it lives with me I will include it. Boston - Dog. Not sure what kind she is, but my god she has a ton of fur!

Nothing official, but I suffer from asthma attacks every now and then. And I have problems seeing often, if that counts.

Zero Tolerance for hate crimes, discrimation, etc. I can understand not liking someone, but I don't understand why people can't keep that to themselves. Why must a person be so immature to act on that.

I was absolutely obsessed with the Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. (Don't let the movie fool you if you have seen it, the movie destroyed the books) It's a series of 13 books. Several of them I have read more than once. Its a wonderfully sad story, I can't count how many times I cried reading it.

So today, was pretty uneventful. I went to the VA clinic with Chuck. Was so pointless. Had to leave work early to waste an hour and a half there. He had blood work done and had to attend an orientation.
That's unheard of, an orientation for a doctors' office. Come on, get real.
Though, there was a crazy guy there, he was quite amusing. He was harassing the hell out of the poor nurses, and the lab technician. He kept saying something about a PSA, I'm sure what that is, but he was quite upset about it, cause I guess no one would authorize it.
Eavesdropping on one of the conversations he was having with a nurse. He refused to give an updated address. And everytime he was asked for a new phone number, or address, he would just rattle off the NASA website.

I know it isn't funny to laugh at someone who obviously wasn't all there. But sitting there waiting for so long, I had to amuse myself with something.

After that we went to the grocery store. It was far more fun than a grocery store should be. lol..

I feel like starting a blog. and hopefully update it everyday.

My name is Amanda, people call me Amanda, Mandy, Miss Amanda, and shorty. In all honesty I don't care what you call me.

I am 21 years old. I live in Clearwater, FL. I have lived in Florida for most of my life.
I have two children. My son Ryan, he is 3 1/2 and my daughter KayLee, she turned 2 in September. Their father and I are no longer together. Long story, I suppose I will save it for another day.

I'm in love with a wonderful man. His name is Chuck. He is 30 and has 2 children of his own. Gavin and Kember.

I have a small family, aside from my children and my love. There is just me, my mom, and my sister. I have a half brother and a half sister as well, which I have just recently met through the wonderful world of Myspace. My father is/was a deadbeat. He took off when I was in 3rd grade. I haven't heard from him since.


I'm unlike any person I have ever met. I am quite insightful if I do say so myself. Many people have come to me for advice and help over the years. I'm no genius but I have been through a lot. Even the things I haven't been through, I still seem to be able to advise about.
I have never been able to hold a grudge. Some have said I have a heart made of pure gold. Maybe that is true. I don't have many friends. I can be anti-social for weeks at a time. Only a very few select people will hear from me during those times. I have been used and abused more times than I can begin to count. Probably because I wear my heart on my sleeve. I trust everyone far too easily. I always forgive, and I have too much compassion for everybody around me. I believe that I care too much. Not about what people say about me, or think about me. I just care about people in general. My worst enemy could be in a coma, and I would be hoping that they pull out of it. There are extents to my caring. Bad people will get so compassion from me, for example, Bin Laden, or Adolf Hitler, rapists, and murderers, etc.

My biggest dream is to be an artist. I practice every day and get no where. I'm not terrible, but I'm not good either. I guess it would be best described as mediocre. I doubt myself and my capabilities far more often than I should.
I am fascinated by photography, especially abandoned buildings and the like.
I used to write a lot of poetry, but lost all of my inspiration about 6 years ago.
I'm not even sure if I have any of my old poems left. If I find any, I'll try to share them with you.
